The rate is R8500.00 per night Peak Season. The rate excludes a refundable R5000.00 breakage deposit (5 day min stay)

The rate is R7000.00 per night High Season. The rate excludes a refundable R5,000.00 breakage deposit (3 day min stay)

The rate is R6400.00 per night Low Season. The rate excludes a refundable R5,000.00 breakage deposit. 

 The deposit will be refunded within 7 working days to the debit/credit card used for payment (less any breakages/damages). 

Breakage deposit refunds are at the sole discretion of the homeowner with regard to breakages/losses and replacement costs. 

Should breakages/losses exceed the breakage deposit, you will be required to cover the full costs of any breakages/losses.

Dr Sangoma do not enter into any dispute regarding breakage/damage deposit refunds.

Please note that provisional bookings are only valid for 48 Hours. To confirm this booking, we will the full payment.  

Check In is from 14h00.

Check out is strictly before 10h00

A late check out fee of R800 will be deducted from breakage deposit if guests check in before 14h00 and depart after the 10h00 checkout time.  

Guests may check out later by prior arrangement (at additional cost) – if there are no guests arriving that day.

Payment may be made by internet transfer (EFT) to a SA bank account 

Please note that cash payments are not accepted. Clients will be charged the cash deposit charges if received.

All Bank Charges/Fees, fluctuating exchange rates relating to any local or international payments will be for the guests own account.

Guests making FOREX payments from outside of RSA, are required to ensure that foreign exchange bank charges are to their own account.

Payments not received by due date may result in the reservation being cancelled.

The cancellation policy is detailed on the attached invoice (including Covid cancellation /postponement policy).

Please ensure you are familiar with these terms before making deposit payment.

Dr Sangoma 5 Wakene, and Wakene Estate, the owners, staff, agents or anyone connected to the lodge do not take any responsibility for any injuries, accidents, fatalities, lost or stolen goods, irrespective of the cause, while residing at 5 Wakene or within the Wakene Complex

• 10km / hour speed limit in resort No noise after 10.30 pm.
• Loud music, parties, and functions will not be allowed. 
• No fireworks.
• No children under 18 years on quad bikes
• All casual labour to be sourced via the estate manager.
• Guests must advise security in advance of any visitors
• Abuse of security staff is not tolerated
• No Pets Permitted
• Maximum capacity of the house may not be exceeded
• The house runs on a septic tank system so please do not flush any foreign products down the toilets. 
• No smoking in the house is permitted.
• Smokers may smoke on the outside patio. 
• Mozambique is a malaria area.

Please visit your doctor for advice and take all the necessary anti-malaria precautions before leaving for Mozambique.

• Please note that a 4×4 is required to access Wakene
